Two weeks from today George W. Bush leaves the White House and Barack Obama arrives. What do you do during your last few weeks in the White House? Secretly grab things? I know if I lived in a house for 8 years there would be some items I would really want to take with me. It would have to be done in a secret way though.
I wonder if Bush’s crew has any practical jokes planned on their way out like the Clinton team that supposedly yanked the letter W from keyboards all over the White House. I don’t know but I would invest in an inventory of the letter O, just in case, if I were the incoming Obama White House computer guy.
Well Curt, you make an interesting observation. If I was Bushey, I don’t know what I would take. Perhaps the presidential seal in the press room. If I were him I would display it in some super secret special place, were you would only see it if you knew where to look. Maybe I would take some presidential portrait. I wouldn’t care who really, just some portrait. Hopefully he gets to leave with at least some soap and a shower bonnet, a pair of slippers and a robe might not be to bad either.
